Passion

"Passion is universal humanity. Without it religion, history, romance and art would be useless." -Honoré de Balzac (b. May 20, 1799) http://bit.ly/kF5f6j

My passion, aside from my grandchildren, which all grandmothers have a passion for, is reading and writing. These passions are who I am and without them I would not truly exist. This is the case with all humans, if they do not have a passion for something, anything, there would be an emptiness to them. Perhaps that is why there is rampant depression and violence in the world today. Then again, perhaps many people have an unhealthy passion for harmful things. I think that if people would read enlightening, uplifting, and educational material, or even romance novels! - the world would be a happier place.
