In Laura Wrights "Eternal Captive" Lucian Roman is a dynamic character that is filled with emotion and turbulence, although he tries to make everyone (including himself) believe that he is careless and distant. He has strong feelings for Bronwyn Kettler -- some moments he wants, needs to kill her, and others, he wants to sink himself into her, in more ways than one. His cocky, carefree, and self-centered persona is a mask for the true and very complicated Breeding Male that he is. Laura's MARK OF THE VAMPIRE series is an exciting, suspenseful, and very sexy addition to the world of paranormal and romantic literature. I am already looking forward to the next installment.
